I wanted to take a moment to congratulate the newly elected and reelected to the Pomona City Council.
It should be noted @mayorsandoval won reelection in March of 2024 and will also be sworn into office tonight.
I'm looking forward to working alongside you all for the good of our community. And with a majority female city council, we will tackle the challenges and opportunities ahead.
I hope my colleagues will accept my regrets for not being able to attend tonight's special meeting due to my recovery from surgery last week. I look forward to our first official business meeting together on December 16th.
